Located in the estuary of the Pearl River,Zhuhai has abundant water resources.The supply of water in Zhuhai was 218.53 million tons in 2002,of which tap water was 163.94 million tons.Zhuhai also supplies water to Macao.The supply of water to Macao in 2002 was 54.59 million tons.
Electricity Supply
Zhuhai's energy industry developed steadily in 2002.The output value generated by electricity,steam and hot water showed an invrease of 12.2% over the previous year. Power capacity increased by 11% in the same period.Power consumption for social use was 3.818 billion kw/h,a rise of 15.17% over the previous year.Power consumption for industrial use was 2.27 billion kw/h, a rise of 17.89% over the previous year.
